Sample Policy:
Adopting a policy on Purposeful Purchasing at your organization is an important step in demonstrating your organization’s commitment to spending in ways that promote the economic inclusion of people with disabilities. The following sample policy will help you to explain to others what Purposeful Purchasing is and what a policy about it might look like. Please feel free to make this policy your own!

Sample Supplier Letter:
After you have identified who your top suppliers are, and how much you spend with them, the next step is to let them know about your decision to begin purchasing with purpose. The attached Supplier letter can be sent to your suppliers. This letter, reminds your suppliers of your spending power, and invites them to become engaged through completing a brief on-line survey. This survey asks suppliers to let you know where they are at with respect to the inclusion of people with disabilities.
